Meet Ms. Jessica!

jessicaMs. Jessica Reeves, our wonderful Ruby Dance Co. and Adult Tap Teacher, graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a BFA in Dance. While attending SEMO she choreographed her “BFA project” reflecting a mix of modern contemporary and tap entitled, “Two Chaotic.” This piece got the chance to be judged at the American College Dance Festival Association which the judges all had positive remarks. While she attended SEMO she had the opportunity to work with Susan Quinn Williams. During the Summer of 2011 she participated as an intern with Tapestry Dance Company in Austin, Texas and was able to work with the amazing Acia Gray.In addition she received her Associates of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from Glendale Community College in Glendale, Arizona. While attending Glendale Community College she participated in the dance company “Physical Graffiti.” While participating in the company she had opportunities to work with amazing choreographers that conducted master classes. She had the opportunity to work with Golde and Logan Lipton from Buffalo, New York. In addition, she choreographed her “practicum” which was a modern/contemporary piece to the world famous Beethoven, “Moonlight Sonata.” Jessica has been dancing since she was three years old and has studied tap, jazz, ballet, and modern and attended numerous dance conferences. After graduating from Glendale Community College in 2009, she participated in the Disney College Intern Program. As part of this program she was able to take classes through the Disney entertainment and leadership group.
